The Centre for Research on Bilingualism provides a wide range of courses in Bilingualism and Swedish as a Second Language at the undergraduate level and offers a full PhD programme in Bilingualism.

Master's Programme in Language Sciences with a Specialisation in Bilingualism

The Master's Programme in Language Science with a Specialisation in Bilingualism (120 credits) provides a comprehensive two-year course of study of core areas in Bilingualism, aiming to develop and deepen your knowledge of bi- and multilingualism at both the individual and societal level. The programme is also intended to strengthen students’ inter-disciplinary knowledge of scientific theory, research ethics and research methodology.

Study abroad: Minor Field Studies

Minor Field Studies (MFS) is a scholarship programme for field studies in developing countries.

Both distance and campus learning at the Department Autumn 2020

The teaching at the Institute for Inerpreting and Translation Studies, Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism will mainly be online during the spring semester. There will only be a few opportunities for teaching and examination on campus during the first half of spring. Please read our FAQ: Questions and answers.
