Language of instruction

English

English is the language of instruction in all of the compulsory courses in Bilingualism: Methods in Research on Bilingualism, Second Language Learning and Bilingual Development, Psycholinguistic Aspects of Bilingualism, Bilingualism in Society, and Bilingualism from an Educational  Perspective.

English is also the only language of instruction in one of the compulsory courses for the programme as a whole: Language in Use.

English or Swedish

The compulsory course Scientific Methods and Research Ethics has two language options: Swedish and English.

Year 1

Autumn semester: first half

During the first half of the semester, two of the compulsory programme courses:

Autumn semester: second half

In the second part of the semester, two of the compulsory courses for the specialisation:

Spring semester: first half

During the first half of the semester, two specialisation courses:

Spring semester: second half

In the second part of the semester, you choose two optional courses of 7.5 credits each or Magister's Thesis in Bilingualism, 15 credits.
